As you begin your search, consider the following:

Your modality: Different bodywork calls for different strength, width, height and foam style. Ask a professional in your modality about special needs or call us toll free at 1-888-824-7558 for a free consultation.

Wood or Aluminum Leg Tables: Both mediums are a good choice. Some people prefer wood and others like the brushed aluminum look and the higher strength to weight ratio factor. Aluminum is a powerful conductor of energy and is used in some very special energy healing tools. Wood offers that warm natural feel. We only offer aluminum tables that are made with high strength tubular aircraft aluminum legs. They offer the fastest and most convenient push button height adjusment available.

Table Height and Width: All portable tables adjust in height. For Swedish massage choose a 29" to 31" width. The 29" table is easier to transport and setup. The 30-31" table offers more room for client comfort and arm support. Earthlite has easy leg adjustments on all of their tables.

Foam Thickness and Layers: Multi-layer foam is more comfortable and recommended for longer relaxing massages. Thinner, firmer foam is required for some modalities. Most tables can be orderd with extra thick foam. A firm table with extra width and length is often preferred for Somatic and Feldenkrais modalities.
